Architectural rendering
Eye-level, aerial, masterplan and night views that show a design clearly before it is built, for competitions, approvals and sales.

What we render
SharkMix is a Shanghai studio founded in 2015 that works only in architectural visualization. Exterior rendering is the core of our work, across mixed-use and retail, offices, housing, campuses, schools and civic buildings, landscape and masterplanning.
Typical views include eye-level renderings that show the building at street level with people and context; aerial and masterplan views that explain layout and surroundings; dusk and night views that bring out lighting and atmosphere; and close-ups of facades, entrances and atriums.
What they are for
Competitions need images that land the key idea in seconds. Approvals and client reviews need views and materials that match the drawings. Leasing and sales need life and atmosphere for boards, brochures and advertising. We start by asking how the images will be used, then choose views and treatment to suit.
How we work
Send CAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit or 3ds Max files with material intent and references. A project lead confirms views, image sizes and deadlines, then fixes the quote and schedule.
We send clay previews to agree camera and composition before rendering, then render previews to agree materials, lighting and mood, then the full-resolution render and post-production. Before delivery you mark up comments directly on the image and we revise until it is signed off.
A single view typically takes 2–3 working days and a set of around four views 3–5 days, depending on the number of views and how complete the model is. We confirm every milestone before work starts.

we get asked.
How are renderings quoted?
On the number of views, image size and design depth. Send drawings or a model with the views and deadline you need, and a project lead will reply with a quote and schedule.
Can you work without a 3D model?
Yes. We can build the model from drawings, with 3D design support charged according to the work involved.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. For competitions and unreleased projects we can sign one before you send any material.
Have a project on the boards?
Send drawings and the views you need, and we will reply with a quote and schedule.
